Kent was glowing from Hollywood’s warm reception after being invited as a VIP guest to view the faith-based film. The radiant beauty is the stylin’ star making headlines as a global influencer who has carved a niche all her own. The wise-word phenom, whom audiences first took notice of during her role in numerous commercials, including international features, took some time to speak with Culture Buzz about her fascinating life and the exclusive world premiere event.

Culture Buzz Editor:

First of all, what did you think about the film?

Germany Kent:

I thought the film was fantastic. Robert Katz, the producer, said that it took seven years to make. It was well worth it. I really thought the casting was very good. Eric Close, Amy Acker, Austin Woods, Andrea Figilomeni, Exie Booker, Ja’Quan Monroe-Henderson and all the cast just really did an outstanding job in their roles. I’m so happy for Harold Cronk and his team who executed on this one. Just get ready to be inspired is all I can say.

Culture Buzz Editor:

What did you like most about the film?

Germany Kent:

It’s a very relatable movie. Without giving away too much, I can say that it’s inspired by controversial events surrounding a rural family and involves education and politics. The movie follows this couple who reflect back to their childhood and it shows how God will bring you through different stages and ultimately get you to where you are supposed to be. Even though it has some touching moments that are not easy to watch, I believe the movie is packed with life lessons and is also suitable for families to enjoy. Truth be told, it’s from the same producers who brought moviegoers “The Blind” and “God’s Not Dead” so let’s just say it’s a crowd pleaser.

Culture Buzz Editor:

What was your take away from the film?

Germany Kent:

Definitely the power of religious freedom, freedom of speech and how God is also working in your toughest battles. If you stand on faith, he will deliver every time. “Average Joe” is a very thought-provoking movie. Stephanie Katz did a wonderful job with the writing. It’s gritty, has romance, and is realistic. It also pays homage to our veterans. It scores with a lot of twists and an impactful ending.

Culture Buzz Editor:

What has been your favorite faith-based project that you’ve worked on?

Germany Kent:

I’ve been entrenched in the space for a while now connecting with directors and producers to promote kingdom building and kingdom business. I’d have to say though that thus far my absolute favorite faith-based project was hosting for the Global Christian Professional Women’s Association when I shared the stage with Anne Graham Lotz, the late Billy Graham’s daughter.

Culture Buzz Editor:

You have so many things you do. If you were not in the entertainment industry what would be your dream job?

Germany Kent:

I always wanted to be an artist performing in some way or motivational speaker to massive audiences, but if that aspect was totally out of my life, I’d probably be a flight attendant. I still have not ruled out a stand-up comedy run. Laughing.

Culture Buzz Editor:

Kent is intriguing to say the least.

The countdown is on for those who wish to see “Average Joe” slated to debut in theaters October 10.
