As the pro-Cannabis movement begins to make waves across the Country, local lad Ryan Mundy brings his own taste of Amsterdam to the awe-inspiring Grand Central Food Bazaar with his CBD cafe concept Mundeye.
UK Cannabis laws appear to be changing at a dizzying rate, with the general public finally coming round to the plants healing properties. Ryan had watched his mother suffer debilitating migraines across the years and he knew that the use of Cannabis related products could help his Mum alleviate her symptoms but due to stigma surrounding the plant he could never convince her to try it.
It seems the country is waking up to the outdated Cannabis laws. CBD has been shown to treat a wide range of conditions including PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, Arthritis, Epilepsy, Chronic Pain, Schizophrenia, Anorexia, Diabetes and other neurological disorders. The anti-cancer properties are also being investigated and and seem to be showing excellent results. As well as the cafe, Mundeye will service the local community with UK/EU certified non-GMO, Vegan, CBD oil as well as being a headstore selling trays, grinders and merchandise.
Ryan has been working in bars since aged 12 and is using his transferable skills to break into the up and coming industry. He designed Mundeye with an Amsterdam coffee shop feel in mind, a place for the community to gather and discuss ideas. Everything on the menu will have the option to include CBD and an array of goodies for sale including waffles and cookies, specialty teas and coffee’s and lots of desserts.
Mundeye will also be developing it’s own merchandise and launching it’s own smoking brand in the future. Ryan is working with local designer Sine Missione and the poet Tony Moran on some fun community based events. He also intends to do charity based fundraisers for people who are sick and without funds for access to CBD related products.
